Incumbents work with large and complex data sets to evaluate business strategies. They identify and compile data using tools such as SQL and Access to predict and measure key business outcomes.

The role requires developed communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information. It has a moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities and related teams.

Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Breaks down information in a systematic manner while exercising professional judgment on variable issues with broader business impact.

Requirements

2-5 years relevant experience
Ability to retrieve and manipulate data
Analytic ability and problem solving skills
Working experience in a quantitative field
Willing to learn and can-do attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organized, detail oriented, flexible and adaptive to matrix work environment
Ability to build partnerships with cross-function leaders

Responsibilities

Work with large and complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support implementation of business strategies
Identify and compile data sets using tools such as SQL and Access to predict and measure business outcomes
Document data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis
Utilize statistical models, algorithms, and data visualization techniques
Assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Specialize in marketing, risk, digital, or AML fields as applicable
