About this role
At Moxie, we empower ambitious aesthetic entrepreneurs to build profitable, independent practices without burnout or guesswork. We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to embed deeply in the product organization and own design for the most operationally complex areas of the platform.
You will partner directly with PMs and engineers in a true trio model, shaping what gets built rather than executing on a predefined roadmap. The role carries real autonomy across discovery, problem framing, shipping, and measuring impact in domains that affect whether providers trust Moxie to run their business.
You will shadow providers, join account calls, and become the team's expert on complex operational workflows. The PM–design–eng trio model is already established, so you will spend your time doing the work instead of fixing process.
Design problems here reward craft because the bar is whether providers trust the platform to run their business. You will have meaningful product areas to own and the autonomy to make them genuinely better from day one.
Requirements
- Experience designing complex operational software in dense, workflow-heavy environments such as scheduling, billing, or inventory
- Strong end-to-end ownership with a track record of leading design from discovery to shipped product in alignment with engineers and PMs
- Customer-driven instincts demonstrated by proactively talking to users and applying learnings directly in the work
- Craft that handles complexity well, making hard things feel simple in workflow-dense interfaces
- Collaborative by default, thriving in a tight trio with a PM and TL while raising the bar in design reviews
- Fluent with AI tools used actively in the design workflow
Responsibilities
- Own your domains end-to-end from discovery and problem framing through shipping and measuring impact
- Drive measurable provider outcomes tied to onboarding completion, time-to-task, support ticket reduction, and feature adoption
- Build deep customer fluency by shadowing providers and joining account calls to understand complex operational workflows
- Elevate the design baseline by addressing structural design debt alongside shipping new features
- Shape the roadmap by bringing design-led problem framing to initiative planning and surfacing unnamed problems
Benefits
- Real ownership with meaningful product areas to call your own and autonomy to make them better
- A team that already works well together in an established PM–design–eng trio model
- Design problems that reward craft where the standard is whether providers trust the platform to run their business
