About this role

Adnovum seeks a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer to design and operate complex cloud-native solutions for public sector clients. The role focuses on building resilient platforms that bridge development and production operations in an international environment.

Daily work centers on high-availability architectures, Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms, and automated CI/CD pipelines using Helm, Argo CD, and Ansible. You will also implement secrets management, certificate handling, and monitoring stacks to keep systems secure and performant.

Requirements

University degree in computer science or a related field
Experience with cloud technologies and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift) and at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS)
Experience with secrets management and certificate solutions (e.g., cert-manager, ACME)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, ELK stack, Splunk)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, OpenTofu)
Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and customer-oriented mindset
Excellent command of German and English

Responsibilities

Design and implement high-availability and scalability concepts in cloud-native and hybrid infrastructures
Design and integrate custom-built applications in container environments (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)
Set up security solutions including secrets management with HashiCorp Vault or Azure Key Vault, TLS certificate management, and DoS protection
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Helm, GitOps, Ansible, and Argo CD while supporting development teams
Set up monitoring and alerting and optimize performance of platform components
