As Platform Engineer you will develop and support the Enterprise Service Management platform. This includes configuring modules such as ITSM, HR, Workplace Management, Risk Management, and IT Security Operations while building technical integrations using REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs.

You will work closely with Delivery and Product Managers to implement features aligned with business requirements. The role provides strategic partnership and innovative technology solutions that support GIC’s vision of being a tech-driven global long-term investment firm.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software development or system/platform engineering.

Responsibilities

Develop and support implementation of ESM platform modules while ensuring alignment with security, development, and coding best practices.
Oversee technical design, configuration, and customization of the ESM platform and its modules including ITSM, HR, Workplace Management, Risk Management, and IT Security Operations.
Develop technical integrations using REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs to ensure seamless operation of the ESM platform.
Develop custom scripts and code to extend the functionality of the ESM platform.
Plan and manage technical tasks and schedules to ensure high quality and timely delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operational procedures for the ESM platform.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including program managers, project managers, business users, technical teams, and external partners.
Provide daily project status updates on work assigned with reference to JIRA epics, stories, and backlogs during stand-ups and sprint reviews.
