About this role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced, client facing, Cyber Security Engineer with a strong focus on cloud security to join our security team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in securing multi-cloud environments, embedding in client teams to deliver robust protection across platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and security teams to embed security principles into cloud-native architectures. You will support projects, plan engagements, and build client relationships daily.

Requirements

  • Technical background with experience within an operationally focused engineering function.
  • Experience bringing a technology perspective to a broad range of client issues, demonstrating how technology can be used to address problems and realise opportunities.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in securing multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Working knowledge of Secure Architecture concepts and cloud-native security principles.
  • Client-facing consulting skills with a record of delivering outstanding results on complex projects.
  • Ability to hold or obtain UK National Security Vetting, including having resided in the UK for at least the past 5 years and being a UK national or dual UK national.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to lead impactful consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects or workstreams within a larger programme, consulting with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers where appropriate.
  • Plan and shape the delivery of engagements, including work plans, timelines, project management and resource allocations.
  • Provide input on security operations capabilities and services.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients on a daily basis.
  • Embed in client teams to deliver robust security protection across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and security teams to embed security principles into cloud-native architectures.
  • Design and implement secure cloud-native architectures with a working knowledge of Secure Architecture concepts.
