As a Software Engineer at PAR Technology, join the team responsible for Bridg, our Identity Resolution platform. Partner with engineering teammates and partner teams such as product, sales, and customer success to build reliable, scalable software. Develop cloud-native, data-intensive applications using AWS, Snowflake, Java, Python, and React. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals including object-oriented programming (Java preferred; Python also used), data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with SQL and working with structured datasets
- Exposure to AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EMR)
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms
- Clear communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools with understanding of the code
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable services for Identity Resolution platform using Java, SQL, Python, and AWS
- Process and transform large datasets using modern data platforms and distributed systems
- Contribute across full software development lifecycle including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support
- Partner with engineering, product, sales, and customer success teams to deliver customer value
- Build cloud-native, data-intensive applications in a growing SaaS organization
