Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
- Available to work full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Fall 2026 term (September to December) in hybrid mode.
- Must be an active student during internship and returning to school in Winter 2027.
- Bilingualism required for candidates located in Quebec.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex, multi-source datasets into clear, business-ready insights, recommendations, and measurable impact.
- Build production-quality analytical and ML code (Python/R), using modern libraries and best practices (testing, version control, reproducibility).
- Contribute to applied research and development that advances AI-enabled products - prototyping, experimenting, and validating approaches.
- Explore and evaluate cutting-edge methods across the fast-evolving AI landscape (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision, geospatial analytics).
- Work hands-on with diverse data modalities - geomatics/geospatial, telematics/time-series, text, and images - linking patterns to business decisions.
- Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through concise narratives, visualizations, and well-documented deliverables.
