The tribe drives digital transformation for ~800,000 clients across three brands, establishing the BizBanking platform with digital sales, service processes, and automation. You'll work in the data squad as a Senior Data Engineer, implementing reusable data products and setting up infrastructure for business use cases. This supports extensive digitalisation and cloud migration of applications.

Collaborate in an agile setup with business colleagues, stakeholders, and engineers from other areas to achieve a highly automated process and application landscape. The team invests in growth for the Corporate Bank segment. Actively participate to improve ways of working.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
Strong hands-on programming experience in Java and/or Python, with a proven track record of building and operating production-grade data and streaming pipelines
Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms such as Google BigQuery, including strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling best practices
Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation, including designing and maintaining deployment pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform
Engineering mindset: able to work independently, take ownership of deliverables end-to-end, collaborate effectively within a team, and communicate clearly and professionally in English

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using technologies like Apache Beam, Apache Airflow and Spring Boot to load data from multiple systems of record for downstream consumption
Provision and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automate testing and deployments, prepare production releases, and continuously monitor, track, and remediate defects and security vulnerabilities
Actively participate in an agile team setup and provide feedback to improve ways of working
Implement reusable data products in the data squad
Set up infrastructure needed to support business use cases
