About this role

NPS Prism is a market-leading, cloud-based SaaS business owned by Bain & Company. We are seeking a Data Scientist II with experience in both classical machine learning and modern AI systems. This role involves end-to-end ownership of data science initiatives, from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.

Develop and deploy AI solutions across ML and genAI use cases. You will design, build, validate and optimize predictive models including regression, tree-based models, ensemble methods, gradient boosting and deep learning. Additionally, develop LLM-based solutions such as RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning and agentic workflows.

NPS Prism has rapidly grown to a team of over 200, serving dozens of clients worldwide. The company is transitioning from a consulting-led business to a technology-led business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help drive business growth to its full potential.

This is a great opportunity to help build the largest startup owned by Bain & Company and take NPS Prism into the future. You will ensure production readiness through monitoring, model governance, performance tracking, retraining strategies and documentation.
