About this role

As a Senior Consultant Data Warehouse / Senior Data Analyst at MID GmbH, you will drive transformation for clients by designing and optimizing data warehouse solutions. You will work alongside 170 colleagues who are passionate about turning technological change into sustainable value for businesses.

Your day-to-day involves independently coordinating requirements with clients and departments, analyzing data preparation processes from interface to key figure, and building relational and multidimensional databases. You will also optimize existing system solutions and shape the architecture and design of modern data models.

You will join a team of experts in business process management, enterprise architecture management, and data management, all focused on helping clients adapt IT capabilities, structures, and processes quickly. The agile work environment encourages active participation in shaping future topics and market penetration.

Requirements

Completed degree in (business) informatics or a comparable IT-focused qualification, ideally with a connection to controlling
At least 5 years of professional experience in agile BI or data warehouse projects
Experience implementing GDPR-compliant data warehouse solutions
Professional experience in designing ETL processes and data structures, especially with very large data volumes
Proficiency in SQL
Several years of experience in designing ETL/ELT processes and awareness of data warehouse architectures
Experience designing interfaces to the data warehouse, ideally with event-based interfaces using Apache Kafka
Conceptual skills with process-oriented and analytical thinking, and negotiation-level German language skills

Responsibilities

Coordinate requirement specifications with clients and departments independently
Analyze and design data preparation processes from interface to key figure
Develop and build relational and multidimensional databases for a unified data foundation
Optimize existing system solutions in the data warehouse context
Design the architecture and data model of the data warehouse
Develop modern data modeling solutions for client projects
