Bloomberg runs on data, and our Data Artificial Intelligence group brings modern AI technologies into the Data organization. We partner with business teams to align AI innovation with strategic objectives, focusing on optimizing data workflows and elevating data quality.

As Technical Product Manager, you will drive platform-oriented initiatives at the intersection of AI, data infrastructure, and workflow automation. You will build scalable capabilities that enable teams across Bloomberg to automate and modernize data workflows using AI.

Partnering closely with AI engineers, platform teams, financial domain experts, and senior leadership, you will define infrastructure, tooling, standards, and operational frameworks. This ensures AI-powered workflows can be developed, evaluated, and deployed consistently at scale.

You will act as both strategist and operator, bringing clarity to sophisticated platform challenges and defining cross-organizational priorities. Your work will help establish AI as a durable platform capability, amplifying the impact of the Data organization.

Requirements

Experience in product management for AI/ML platform products
Deep understanding of data workflows, including classification, extraction, and entity resolution
Ability to define technical requirements for AI-powered automation solutions
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including AI engineers, platform teams, and domain experts
Knowledge of data infrastructure and workflow automation tools
Strong strategic and operational thinking – ability to balance big-picture vision with execution
Familiarity with financial data and markets is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the development of shared AI platform capabilities across multiple business domains including classification, extraction, entity resolution, and validation

Define the infrastructure, tooling, standards, and operational frameworks for consistent AI deployment
Bring clarity to sophisticated platform and organizational challenges and define cross-organizational priorities
Drive execution through reusable capabilities and shared standards rather than one-off solutions
