The Senior Product Manager for Developer Platform Core Services leads the strategy, vision, and execution for deployment pipelines, developer tooling, and platform orchestration. This role transforms how engineering teams build, deploy, and operate applications across the enterprise. Developers ship code faster through streamlined workflows and modern platform capabilities.

A day in the life involves defining a compelling multi-year vision aligned to company strategy and acting as primary product owner for the Developer Platform organization. Lead cross-functional initiatives with product, technical program, and engineering teams. Monitor DevOps, platform engineering, and developer experience trends to inform execution.

Partner closely with Developer Platform, Dev Tools, Dev Compute, Data Streaming Platform, and Cloud Engineering teams. Drive discovery, customer research, and planning sessions to address developer pain points and deployment challenges. Build relationships with engineering leadership for platform modernization.

Translate developer needs into actionable plans, prioritize features, and implement go-to-market strategies including UAT and change management. Establish KPIs like deployment success rates, build times, and developer adoption. Demonstrate energy, ownership, passion for developers, and a can-do attitude.

Requirements

Solid practitioner in product strategy, vision, stakeholder management, discovery, execution, and delivery
Deep understanding of developer pain points, deployment challenges, and platform requirements
Experience driving product discovery and synthesizing customer research insights
Ability to collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams like Dev Tools and Cloud Engineering
Knowledge of deployment automation, container orchestration, workflow management, and developer tooling
Proficiency in defining go-to-market strategies, change management, and post-launch validation
Passion for developer productivity, platform experiences, and engineering velocity
Can-do attitude with energy, ownership, and thoughtful problem-solving

Responsibilities

Define and communicate a compelling multi-year vision and strategy for Developer Platform Core Services including deployment pipelines, developer tooling, and platform orchestration
Act as the primary product owner for the Developer Platform organization and evangelize the product
Lead cross-functional initiatives across the Developer Platform to drive measurable outcomes
Monitor industry trends and best practices in DevOps, platform engineering, and developer experience
Drive discovery and planning with cross-functional teams ensuring technical feasibility and business alignment
Lead customer research to synthesize insights on developer pain points and platform requirements
Translate developer needs into actionable plans and prioritize features based on feedback and metrics
Establish and monitor KPIs including deployment success rates, build times, developer adoption, and platform reliability
