About this role
As Product Manager, you will lead the further development of central technical platform functions for our ERP system APplus. You ensure the system base remains scalable, secure, and future-proof amid evolving technologies. This role shapes the technical foundation of enterprise software.
You will define product strategy, roadmaps, and technical requirements while evaluating trends' impact on architecture. Balance on-premise and cloud environments, prioritize features, and drive performance, security, and maintainability initiatives. Collaborate closely with development, architecture, and DevOps teams daily.
Work in tight coordination with internal stakeholders including support, consulting, and cloud operations. Address security, compliance, and data protection needs across all modules. Monitor KPIs like system stability, performance, and usage while analyzing customer feedback.

Requirements
- Multi-year experience in product management of technical platforms, system software, or ERP systems
- Strong technical understanding of system architecture, software platforms, integrations, and interfaces
- Experience translating technical requirements into product decisions
- Knowledge in IT system architecture (on-premise and cloud), security (authentication, authorization, role models), license models (SaaS, subscription, on-premise), data storage, archiving, compliance, and reporting frameworks
- Understanding of modern security requirements and regulations (e.g., DSGVO, NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act, OAuth)
- Sensitivity for auditability, access control, and secure software development
- Analytical and structured working style with ability to explain complex technical contexts
- Very good English skills in spoken and written form
