Equifax seeks an experienced Data Scientist to support the LATAM analytics team's requirements.
This role involves developing attributes, supervised and unsupervised learning models, optimization, automation and implementation of analytical solutions. You will work with different business units such as Consulting, Data, Products and various internal/external clients for gathering, developing and presenting analytical solutions and insights.
Participate in the full end-to-end process of analytical models, from data gathering to implementation. Analyze and manipulate large structured and unstructured datasets from various sources. Collaborate with an expert multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists to investigate and share best practices and latest market technologies.
Investigate innovative Machine Learning techniques to turn them into solutions and share knowledge with the team. Requirements
- +3 years working in a Data Scientist or similar role
- Intermediate programming in Python and SQL
- Experience developing supervised and unsupervised learning models (desirable)
- Experience with Cloud tools like GCP (desirable)
- Studies in fields related to statistics, mathematics or computer science
- Basic English (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Work with different business units such as Consulting, Data, Products and internal/external clients to gather, develop and present analytical solutions and insights
- Develop models for the full credit lifecycle, from prospecting to collections, as well as marketing models, profiling, clones, etc.
- Participate in the full end-to-end of analytical models, from data gathering to implementation
- Analyze and manipulate large structured and unstructured datasets from various sources
- Investigate innovative Machine Learning techniques to convert them into solutions and share knowledge with the team
- Work closely with technology and model implementation teams to ensure end-to-end quality and analytical deliverables
