About this role

Truckbook is a Rocklin, California-based tech startup founded by NRIs, disrupting the US trucking industry. It offers a one-of-a-kind platform providing job posting and searching solutions for truck drivers using Data and Artificial Intelligence. As UI/UX Designer, focus on end-user perspectives for mobile and web experiences.

Work closely with business and product teams to understand requirements from the truck drivers' and recruiters' viewpoints. Illustrate ideas through storyboards, process flows, sitemaps, UI mockups, and prototypes. Create original graphic designs that enhance platform functionality and appeal.

Collaborate with designers, content and marketing, engineers, and product managers to build cohesive user experiences. Navigate ambiguity while partnering with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to deliver stakeholder value. Contribute to a fast-growing team in a full-time office role at IndiQube Gamma, Kadubeesanahalli.

Requirements

Proficiency in UI/UX design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Experience designing for mobile and web applications
Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and user flows
Knowledge of user-centered design principles for job platforms
Ability to create responsive designs for trucking industry users
Familiarity with interaction design and visual design standards
Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work in tech startups

Responsibilities

Work with business and product teams to build a clear understanding of business requirements from the end-user’s perspective
