About this role
The User Experience Designer position is responsible for translating ideas and concepts into low to high fidelity wireframes and prototypes for Auto Club Enterprises digital products. This role supports projects in design, development, documentation, and debugging of the user interface.
Design, prototype, and test information architectures to ensure consistent and unified aesthetic and user experience across all digital products. Create intuitive user experiences using design concepts and translate ideas into wireframes and prototypes of varying fidelity.
Research potential problem areas on digital channels including websites and mobile applications. Translate member solution requirements into User Interface specifications covering user research, usability testing, information architecture and interaction design.
Work with product and development teams to provide feedback and design consultation. Support and collaborate to define, design, deploy and implement features into new and existing applications across multiple digital platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- 4-6 years user experience design and research or related experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Sketch, Zeplin, and Adobe XD
- Latest versions of HTML/CSS
- CSS Pre-processors like SASS, LESS
- Origami a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and test information architectures to ensure consistent and unified aesthetic and user experience across all digital products.
- Create intuitive user experiences using design concepts and translate ideas into low to high fidelity wireframes and prototypes.
- Develop, update, and publish the ACE Enterprise style guide and design library while creating production graphic assets for various projects.
- Research potential problem areas on digital channels or any other member touch point and translate requirements into UI specifications.
- Facilitate collaborative design workshops with key stakeholders and communicate recommendations regarding user needs and design solutions.
- Work with product and development teams to provide feedback and design consultation on new and existing applications.
