You'll drive an ambitious product design strategy with a systems-thinking lens. This connects user insights to business goals while designing end-to-end flows for IT admins, security admins, and end-users across the Okta portfolio.

You will join a team of AI first designers and researchers. Working closely with product management, engineering, and data science ensures solutions are user-centric, technically feasible, and aligned with business needs in a globally distributed environment.

Requirements

Expertise applying craft on a range of products and services in complex, ambiguous problem spaces.
Strong systems-thinking ability to connect user insights with business goals.
Experience designing for multiple personas and complex use cases across a product portfolio.
Proficiency ensuring cohesive experiences across desktop, mobile web, and dedicated applications with accessibility standards.
Ability to lead through influence while collaborating with research, writing, product, engineering, and data science teams.
Skill presenting work to senior leadership to showcase design impact and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

Drive and execute an ambitious product design strategy ensuring meaningful impact on user experience and business outcomes.
Bring a systems-thinking lens to connect user insights and business goals to create experiences that keep customers safe.
Drive impact by framing problems and exploring solutions in collaboration with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science.
Design end-to-end flows that involve multiple personas and consider complex use cases that span the Okta portfolio.
Ensure a cohesive, responsive experience across all form factors while rigorously applying platform-specific design patterns and accessibility standards.
Design scalable and usable design patterns that drive lasting impact and enhance efficiency and consistency across the product.
Regularly present work, concepts, and new ideas to cross-functional team members and senior leadership to drive alignment and influence key product decisions.
Champion the thoughtful, secure use of AI throughout the product.
