About this role

Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus, focused on the 4X strategy genre and aiming to make Total Battle the No.1 strategy game worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our CI/CD Platform Team.

Your mission is to turn a set of historical TeamCity and GitLab CI pipelines into a unified, reliable, and developer-friendly CI/CD platform. This will enable product teams to ship quickly, safely, and predictably across our 30+ pipelines and 1,000+ TeamCity build configurations.

You will take ownership of the CI layer across multiple teams, from mapping and refactoring existing pipelines to building reusable components and guardrails. You will also shape observability and delivery standards that become the foundation for company-wide development and release processes.

Our team consists of 180+ passionate, talented, and self-driven professionals who love making high-quality games. You will have the opportunity to drive org-wide adoption of best practices through clear documentation, RFCs, and migration guidance.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps, or CI/CD Engineer in complex engineering environments.
Deep expertise with GitLab CI/CD and/or TeamCity (Kotlin DSL, runners/agents, autoscaling, caching).
Strong grasp of build systems, artifact management, caching, and dependency optimization.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong experience with scripting languages (Python, Kotlin, Bash, PowerShell) and proficiency with Git and trunk‑based development.
Excellent cross‑functional communication skills; ability to drive org‑wide adoption with clear docs, RFCs, and migration guidance.
Ownership mindset focused on developer experience and end‑to‑end delivery flow.
English level B1 or higher.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the CI layer across multiple teams, including mapping and refactoring existing pipelines.

Collaborate with product teams to ensure fast, safe, and predictable shipping.
Contribute to the evolution of build systems and artifact management using Docker, K8s, and scripting languages.
