The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer designs, implements, and supports secure, highly available database and infrastructure environments. This role provides advanced hands-on DBA support, including SQL Monitor administration and rotational on-call duties.

Serve as a technical subject matter expert translating architectural standards into scalable solutions for critical production systems. Perform hands-on implementation, configuration, and support of database solutions using AWS, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Terraform infrastructure as code. Ensure reliable, secure, and compliant operations through DBA tasks and monitoring.

Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and execute technical deliverables for strategic initiatives. Develop, test, and maintain logical designs based on architectural reviews in a team-focused environment. Manage rotational on-call responsibilities to support production stability.

Grow in a regulated setting with opportunities in healthcare and PBM industry. Demonstrate leadership by influencing, mentoring, and providing feedback to team members. Transition abstract concepts into technical deployments while upholding security and compliance standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
5 years of experience with infrastructure technologies - AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Terraform
Proven experience communicating effectively to multiple subjects and audiences
Experience with specific domain relevant to team
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills
Ability to transition abstract concepts into technical deployment designs
Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills

Responsibilities
