About this role

The (Senior) Corporate Data Analyst works with stakeholders across all business areas to support the creation of a new internal data warehouse. They manage pulling and analyzing key business data, presenting it in an easily digestible format. This role owns the company-wide data warehouse, ensuring maintenance and availability of systems data.

Day-to-day, the analyst develops, manages, and optimizes BI solutions including data models, dashboards, and reports. They work with cross-department stakeholders to gather and document requirements for BI projects. Using data visualization and statistical analysis, they present data meaningfully, applying Python and SQL to extract business insights around finance and operations.

Collaboration is key: the analyst coordinates with data engineers on integration and technical requirements, and provides training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports. They stay current with BI industry trends and best practices to ensure optimal solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the company's data infrastructure from the ground up, building a new internal data warehouse. It provides exposure to all areas of the business, from finance to operations, and the chance to influence key decisions through data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a business-related field.
  • For Corporate Data Analyst: 1+ years’ experience in data analytics, reporting, and dashboard building. For Senior: 3+ years’ experience providing analytics and reporting to leadership including executive level.
  • Technical experience using data manipulation tools and development languages, including Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of and experience with data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Prior experience working with data engineers and understanding of technical requirements.
  • Strong project ownership and attention to detail with the ability to be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and optimize BI solutions including data models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Act as owner of the company-wide data warehouse, ensuring maintenance, availability, and coordination with data integration engineers.
  • Work with cross-department stakeholders to gather and document requirements for BI projects and enhancements.
  • Utilize data visualization, statistical analysis, and reporting to present data in a meaningful way.
  • Apply Python and SQL to extract business insights around finance, business operations, and more.
  • Build reports and reconcile to system data on a regular cadence and for ad-hoc requests.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data sources, models, and processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.
