Equifax is where you can power your possible. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will apply your knowledge of data characteristics and supply patterns to develop rules and tracking processes that support a robust data quality model.

You will prepare data for analytical use by building pipelines that gather data from multiple sources, then integrate, consolidate, cleanse, and structure it for client solutions. Your day-to-day involves designing and interpreting large, highly complex datasets while implementing security best practices in pipelines and infrastructure.

You will stay up-to-date with the latest trends in GCP and related technologies, actively proposing and evaluating new solutions. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers, reviewing their dataset implementations to ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a data engineer or related role.
Advanced skills using programming languages such as Python or SQL and intermediate level experience with scripting languages.
Intermediate level understanding and experience with Google Cloud Platforms and overall cloud computing concepts, as well as basic knowledge of other cloud environments.
Experience building and maintaining moderately-complex data pipelines, troubleshooting issues, transforming and entering data into a data pipeline.
Experience designing and implementing moderately complex data models and enabling optimization to improve performance.
Demonstrates advanced Git usage and CI/CD integration skills.
Cloud certification strongly preferred.
Experience in AI/ML engineering, cloud security and compliance, or mentoring engineers is a plus.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and review their dataset implementations.
