About this role

Tekion is disrupting the automotive industry with its cloud-native platform. We are seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer I with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation. You will join a team building the first cloud-native automotive retail platform.

In this role, you will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments and automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools. You will manage cloud infrastructure, support containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, and implement monitoring and alerting solutions, working closely with developers to support releases and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Linux administration
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or Python
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
  • Understanding of networking, security, and troubleshooting concepts

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment activities using IaC tools
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and production environments
  • Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
  • Handle Linux server administration and performance tuning
  • Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and post-mortem documentation
  • Follow and contribute to team runbooks, SOPs, and internal documentation
