About this role
eSimplicity is a modern digital services company that partners with government agencies to improve lives and protect well-being. This Senior Data Engineer position is contingent upon contract award and focuses on Medicaid program data systems.
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, reconcile, and validate Medicaid data from MESH and connected CMS systems. Your work will power the Master Detailed Budget Table modernization, including parsing legacy formats and validating calculations.
You will build data processing workflows on AWS services like S3, Glue, EMR, Athena, and Redshift, as well as Databricks and Spark. You will create data products feeding Power BI dashboards and Salesforce reports with consistent definitions and data-quality indicators.
You will implement automated data quality and validation jobs, support AI/ML pipelines for the MESH platform, and write unit and integration tests. You will also perform code reviews, mentor less experienced engineers, and maintain data security controls consistent with CMS ARS 5.1 and FedRAMP Moderate baselines.
