The PSA industry shifts to data, intelligence, and autonomous workflows, evolving from system of record to system of action. As Senior Product Manager, architect intelligent workflows using AI to solve professional services friction. Pair PSA domain experience with eagerness to leverage emerging technologies for customer outcomes.

Report directly to the VP of Products and lead a team of Product Owners and UX designers. Set team direction, mentor product talent, and drive strategic roadmap execution across the PSA product line. Tackle privacy-first AI deployment in a configurable enterprise platform.

Engage PSA practitioners like project managers and executives to validate AI value. Partner with engineering, design, and marketing to ship models reducing manual effort while managing user experience. Build data moats from usage patterns, customer behavior, and decision trajectories.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience in PSA, PPM, ERP, or adjacent professional services software
Deep fluency in professional services operations, including time capture, resource forecasting, project financials, billing workflows, and utilization economics
Mastery of core financial drivers like utilization and realization rates, paired with understanding of outcome-based KPIs such as client sentiment and project success rates
Fast-moving student of the AI landscape actively experimenting with LLMs and agents to disrupt PSA friction
Ability to treat data as 'fuel' by identifying instrumentation for data gaps and defining feedback loops for intelligent systems
Ability to distinguish durable competitive advantages from commodity AI features, including build vs. buy vs. partner decisions and consumption-based monetization

Responsibilities

Drive AI product strategy for Upland PSA and define and prioritize the roadmap from predictive intelligence to autonomous workflow orchestration
Identify and develop the platform's data moat across usage patterns, customer behavior, transaction history, workflow context, and decision trajectories
Tackle deploying privacy-first AI capabilities across a highly configurable enterprise platform while maintaining strict data governance
Engage directly with PSA practitioners—project managers, resource managers, financial controllers and executives—to validate AI operational value
Partner with engineering and design to ship models driving business outcomes and reducing manual effort
Collaborate with Marketing on GTM enablement to translate AI capabilities into crisp, credible positioning
