We are looking for a mid-level iOS engineer to join our Marcus mobile development team in AWM, ideal for an engineer with approximately 3-6 years of experience. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Swift and the iOS ecosystem.

Duties include developing user-centric features using Swift and SwiftUI, integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL, and writing unit and UI tests. You will also debug performance issues using Xcode Instruments and optimize memory usage with the Memory Graph tool while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Swift (protocols, generics, functional programming) and SwiftUI.
Proficiency in Xcode for development, debugging, and performance analysis.
Solid experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and integrating third-party services.
Knowledge of data persistence options (CoreData, Keychain, UserDefaults).
Experience writing unit and UI tests (XCTest, XCUI) and familiarity with Test-Driven Development.
Proficiency with Git for code management and team collaboration.
Advanced debugging (Xcode Instruments, Memory Graph) and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of iOS architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture) and software design principles.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain user-centric iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI.
Integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services.
Write unit and UI tests using XCTest and XCUI, following Test-Driven Development practices.
Debug and optimize performance using Xcode Instruments and Memory Graph tool.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through code reviews.
Own features end-to-end, from design to deployment, with self-directed research.
Maintain clean, well-documented code and adhere to architectural patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
