Storytel is a leading audiobook and e-book streaming platform serving millions across 25 markets, driven by a purpose to lead the future of storytelling. As a Product Designer in Stockholm, you will craft meaningful experiences that move the world through stories.

You will manage the design process end-to-end, from discovery and concept development to final implementation. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape and ship thoughtful, high-quality experiences.

You will join a tight-knit team of four designers within a strong Product & Tech organization. The foundation is solid, and the ambition is to raise the bar. The team intentionally builds time for experimentation with new AI tools and workflows.

This is an individual contributor role where growth is measured by impact and influence rather than titles. You are expected to be proactive and hands-on, turning ambiguity into clear, elegant solutions and taking pride in what goes live.

Requirements

Strong craft and sharp attention to detail in designing high-quality solutions.
Ability to build effective and intuitive user experiences.
Proactive and hands-on approach, turning ambiguity into clear, elegant solutions.
Comfortable understanding broader product strategy and translating it into tangible designs.
Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams.
Familiarity with or willingness to experiment with AI tools and workflows.
Skilled in prototyping and creating accessible UI aligned with a design system.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the user experience across all phases—from discovery and concept development to final implementation.
Translate insights into clear, evidence-based design decisions and confidently communicate them across teams.
Craft high-quality, accessible UI aligned with the Digital Identity and Design System, supported by prototyping.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape, build, and ship impactful solutions.
Drive innovative yet feasible design solutions that balance user value, business goals, and technical constraints.
Ensure strong design execution during implementation by working hands-on with developers.
Measure and evaluate shipped solutions using data and insights to refine the experience.
Facilitate workshops and design discussions to align stakeholders and move initiatives forward.
