At 2U, the parent company of edX, we power thousands of higher education offerings from free courses to full degrees. We seek a Group Product Manager to own the organic discovery and content experience strategy for the edX.org Marketplace, a critical role for learner acquisition and growth.

This position defines the product vision for how tens of millions of learners discover edX, explore the catalog, and find matching programs. You will own on-site experiences like partner landing pages, course pages, catalog taxonomy, navigation, and on-site search to drive organic sessions and leads.

Lead product strategy for AI-era organic visibility, ensuring edX content is structured and surfaced across LLM-powered search platforms. Manage and mentor a Product Manager on technical SEO and site performance while partnering with organic strategy, content, SEO, and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Experience owning product vision and roadmaps for organic discovery in large-scale marketplaces
  • Deep knowledge of organic search, SEO performance data, and site optimization
  • Expertise in AI-driven and LLM-powered search landscapes and visibility strategies
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor product managers as an individual contributor
  • Skill in translating SEO and organic strategies into product requirements and engineering backlogs
  • Data-driven approach to KPIs like organic traffic, leads, conversions, and page performance
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, content, and strategy teams

Responsibilities

  • Define strategy, target outcomes, and product priorities for organic discovery and content experience on edX.org
  • Drive site performance to exceed Organic KPIs including traffic, leads, visibility, and referrals
  • Define, track, and report on product KPIs and OKRs like organic traffic, session-to-lead conversion, and AI search visibility
  • Own and execute the product roadmap for learner-facing discovery surfaces including landing pages, course pages, catalog browse, on-site search
  • Lead edX's product strategy for AI-era organic visibility including LLM optimization and structured content architecture
  • Translate organic search strategy into actionable product requirements, engineering backlogs, and roadmap initiatives
  • Manage and coach a PM focused on Technical SEO & Site Performance
  • Partner with organic strategy lead, content strategist, UX/design, engineering, and data science teams
