About this role

This Senior Product Designer role focuses on improving the end-to-end Digital Business Banking experience for M&T Bank customers. You will design how customers onboard, manage, and service accounts across digital channels, simplifying complex workflows and balancing business goals with user needs.

You will create concepts, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes that communicate ideas and drive alignment across teams. You will translate research, business requirements, technical constraints, and regulatory considerations into customer-centric solutions while supporting usability testing to gather insights.

This role is part of a small but mighty product design team focused specifically on business banking improvements. You will also belong to the larger Digital Experience Design organization spanning M&T and Wilmington Trust, offering strong support, collaboration, and alignment across the company.

You will contribute to the evolution of our design practice by advocating for design standards and accessibility best practices. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, conduct design critiques, and influence roadmap planning by identifying experience opportunities and usability concerns.
