About this role

Work within a systems engineering team to develop and maintain new software applications for manufacturing data collection and reporting. These systems include intricate data collection, reporting solutions, integrations, and other features. The role focuses on improving the work environment for supervisors and team leaders by removing paperwork burden.

Day-to-day tasks include developing new OLTP applications in ASP.Net, supporting existing features through refactoring, and extending internal web APIs. The position also involves integrating with external APIs and SDKs and supporting CI/CD systems.

The team operates in an agile environment applying best practices to solve complex business problems. Communication with external stakeholders and close collaboration with teammates and management are key to preventing blockers and ensuring alignment.

This role offers the opportunity to design and implement technical solutions and optimizations. The focus on data allows manufacturing supervisors to concentrate on their jobs and their people, making a direct impact on the work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of software development experience in a business environment.
  • Proficiency in .Net and C#.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core.
  • Ability to create and consume web APIs.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience with T-SQL and complex queries against large tables.
  • Knowledge of Angular Framework.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) applications and functions in ASP.Net.
  • Support existing features with a heavy emphasis on refactoring for reliability and maintenance reductions.
  • Support and extend internal web APIs and integrate with external APIs and SDKs.
  • Support and extend existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) systems.
  • Design and implement technical solutions and optimizations.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders as needed during design, development and support.
  • Communicate closely with teammates and management to prevent and quickly resolve blockers, and to ensure alignment.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
