This position sits at the intersection of EDA tools, silicon design flows, and scalable software systems, directly impacting the company's top and bottom line.

You will design, develop, and maintain EDA automation products supporting schematic, layout, simulation, verification, and packaging. Develop software solutions in Python and Tcl to boost productivity, quality, and design reuse. Customize and integrate commercial EDA tools into design flows while debugging issues for improved reliability and scalability.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong global collaboration, minimal layers of management, and freedom for meaningful contributions. Work closely with IC designers, layout engineers, CAD teams, packaging, manufacturing, and product engineering groups. Collaborate to define automation requirements and support tape-out schedules.

Innovate ways to architect and optimize end-to-end product cycle flows using AI/ML for greater predictability and reliability. Encourage creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in a team changing how the world communicates. Make direct contributions to accelerate innovation across processes.

Requirements

3–5 years of relevant industry experience
Experience or strong familiarity with EDA, CAD, or semiconductor design automation workflows
Experience with workflow automation
Experience using Machine learning models to solve EDA challenges
Strong programming skills in Python and at least one of C++ or Tcl
Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., simulation, synthesis, P&R, verification, or flow automation)
Extensive experience working in Linux/Unix environments
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and/or Perforce

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain EDA automation products and platforms supporting schematic, layout, simulation, verification, packaging
Develop software solutions (Python, Tcl) to improve productivity, quality, and design reuse
Customize and integrate commercial EDA tools into design flows
Collaborate with IC designers, layout engineers, and CAD teams to define automation requirements
Debug design flow issues and improve tool reliability and scalability
Maintain documentation, best practices, and version-controlled codebases
Support tape-out schedules and continuous improvement initiatives
Innovate new ways to architect and optimize end-to-end product cycle flows
