At Aristocrat, we build engaging digital experiences that combine innovation, usability, and business impact. We are looking for a Mid-Level UX/UI Designer to join our team on a temporary maternity leave replacement contract, owning the full design process independently — from discovery and UX thinking to polished UI execution.

In this role, you will translate product requirements and business needs into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to shape and improve experiences across our SaaS platforms, ensuring responsive and accessible design practices across desktop and mobile.

You will join a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can support both operational and player-oriented experiences. Experience in online gaming, gambling platforms, or player-focused experiences is considered a strong advantage, and you will have the opportunity to work on global SaaS products that reach a wide audience.

This is an independent contributor role with direct impact on product experience and design quality. You will maintain and evolve design standards, components, and documentation, and iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and business priorities.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products or SaaS platforms.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, UI craftsmanship, and end-to-end product design ownership.
Ability to work independently and confidently manage design tasks without a dedicated design team.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and modern UI best practices.
Experience designing complex workflows, dashboards, or data-heavy interfaces.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in online gambling, gaming products, or player experience design — an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process for SaaS platform features and enhancements.
Translate product requirements and business needs into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Work independently while collaborating closely with product and development teams.
Create intuitive, scalable, and visually consistent user experiences.
Maintain and evolve design standards, components, and documentation.
Conduct UX research activities including competitor analysis, usability reviews, and user journey mapping.
Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and business priorities.
Ensure responsive and accessible design practices across desktop and mobile experiences.
