Fubo is a consumer-first live TV streaming company defining the future of TV. We seek exceptional Frontend Engineers passionate about crafting simple systems that solve complex problems. As a Software Engineer on the SmartTV Team, you will build intuitive interactive experiences for premium sports and entertainment.

You will work closely with a design and product team to craft elegant interactive experiences that belie their complexity. You will build performant, testable and maintainable code bases using modern JavaScript tooling like React, TypeScript, and Webpack. Your day-to-day involves developing, testing, maintaining, and improving software systems.

Requirements

2+ years of experience delivering working software, preferably web applications.
Ability to write clean, well-tested code.
Familiarity with at least one mature MV* framework (e.g., React).
Familiarity with immutability concepts, CSS, and responsive design.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES2016+) and TypeScript.
Experience with React and Jest/React Testing Library.
Understanding of continuous integration and deployment, test-driven development, and SOLID design principles.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, maintain, and improve software systems for the SmartTV platform.
Craft intuitive and elegant interactive experiences in collaboration with Design and Product teams.
Build performant, testable, and maintainable code bases using modern JavaScript tooling.
Collaborate with engineers to determine priorities, best practices, and refine functional requirements.
Optimize application performance for SmartTV and set-top box environments.
Implement responsive designs and ensure seamless user experience across TV interfaces.
Participate in continuous integration and deployment processes.
