Dexcom Corporation is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring, expanding its vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. As a member of the Global Product Design team, you will help grow the existing design system and support product development at scale across multiple products.

You will build and enhance UI components that align with our overall design language and comply with accessibility standards, while consistently refining the Dexcom design system language and visual design documentation. Collaborating closely with R&D, you will ensure developers receive all needed visual design specs and that designs are implemented as intended across iOS, Android, and Web apps.

Our GPD Studio in Vilnius is a multi-disciplinary team of UX designers, visual designers, front-end developers, and industrial designers, and has been honored with 23 international design awards for the G7 product. Partnering with the Design Operations team, you will help expand and evolve how the team works more effectively using Figma and AI tools.

Your work will impact all digital products across the Dexcom ecosystem, from high-level structures down to the single details of Figma components and libraries. This is an opportunity to revolutionize the glycemic wellness space as we expand our global design presence to Vilnius.

Requirements

Deep experience with design systems and building UI components at scale
Strong proficiency in Figma, including component and library management
Demonstrated mastery in the formal elements of design: color, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, typography, iconography, emphasis, and unity
Experience collaborating with cross-functional R&D and product development teams
Ability to translate requirements into intuitive and visually appealing interface designs
Knowledge of accessibility standards and ability to ensure compliance in UI components
Experience working across iOS, Android, and Web platforms

Responsibilities

Build and enhance UI components that align with our overall design language and comply with accessibility standards
Consistently refine the Dexcom design system language, visual design documentation, and specifications
Demonstrate mastery in the formal elements of design: color, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, typography, iconography, emphasis, and unity
Collaborate closely with R&D to ensure developers are given all needed visual design specs, then ensure designs are implemented as intended across iOS, Android, and Web apps
Collaborate closely with the UI app design team to translate requirements into intuitive and visually appealing interface designs that fit into our design system logic
Guide other stakeholders to make visual design decisions for mobile and wearable interfaces that follow our design system guidelines
Help grow the existing design system and support product development at scale across multiple products
