About this role

As a Lead UX/UI Designer at Seven Peaks, you will define and execute the design vision, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. You will manage stakeholders effectively, building strong relationships with clients, developers, and cross-functional teams to support project success.

Day-to-day, you will oversee the design of complex user flows, information architecture, and end-to-end user journeys that address both user needs and business goals. You will lead usability testing sessions, analyze results to identify pain points, and drive iterative design processes with cross-functional teams.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to ensure a seamless and technically feasible user experience. You will also mentor junior and mid-level designers, assigning tasks, managing workloads, and providing constructive feedback through regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, including nuances and edge cases
  • Ability to execute tasks independently and handle complex responsibilities without supervision
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to build relationships with clients, developers, and cross-functional teams
  • Clear and effective communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions and influence project direction
  • Experience leading usability testing and user research efforts
  • Proficiency in creating personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Ability to adapt to new or unexpected situations and consult with experts for highly specialized issues

Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee the design of complex user flows, information architecture, and end-to-end user journeys
  • Lead the creation of personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes ensuring strategic alignment and consistency
  • Oversee the development of intuitive and visually cohesive interfaces consistent with design systems, accessibility standards, and branding guidelines
  • Plan and lead usability testing sessions, analyzing results to identify pain points and drive iterative design
  • Lead user research efforts including interviews, surveys, and field studies, translating findings into actionable insights
  • Drive ideation, sketching, and rapid prototyping sessions to explore innovative solutions
  • Create comprehensive design documentation and specifications for cross-functional teams
  • Assign tasks, manage workloads, and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level designers through feedback and performance reviews
