About this role
As part of continuous expansion in the US, we're excited to announce a Digital Data Analyst role within our US Analytics team. The position optimises US digital platforms by analysing end-to-end customer journeys, from product registration through to service plan conversion. It uses digital behaviour and web analytics data to improve acquisition, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
As the first dedicated digital analyst, the role builds digital analytics capability and informs data-driven decisions supporting US business growth. Hands-on work includes funnel analysis, A/B testing, KPI tracking, and dashboarding. Complex data translates into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
The analyst collaborates closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to transform insights into digital journey improvements and marketing enhancements. Limited direct decision-making authority exists, with insights flowing through the manager. High-quality analysis and performance reporting provide strategic value.
Daily tasks involve deep-dive funnel analysis to identify drop-off points, executing A/B tests, and monitoring KPIs like Product Registration Rate and Service Plan Conversion Rate. Data management uses SQL for querying large datasets and ensuring integrity. Strategic collaboration ensures insights align with priorities and timelines.
This role supports web tracking validation by comparing digital analytics with backend data, highlighting discrepancies for improved confidence. It coordinates analysis activities across teams for timely delivery. Overall, it drives growth through reliable behavioural data and accessible dashboards.
Requirements
- Experience analysing end-to-end customer journeys using digital behaviour and web analytics data
- Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics 4, Posthog, and Optimizely for user behaviour analytics
- Hands-on expertise in funnel analysis, A/B testing, and KPI tracking
- Strong SQL skills for querying large rational datasets and data integration
- Dashboarding experience with Power BI or R Shiny for performance reporting
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with validating web behavioural data against backend figures
- Knowledge of KPIs including acquisition, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (CLV)
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive funnel analysis into digital user journeys for product registration and service plan purchases, identifying drop-off points and areas for improvement
- Design, execute, and analyse A/B and multivariate tests to optimize conversion funnels
- Gather and interpret data from Google Analytics 4, Posthog, Optimizely to understand customer behaviour and engagement habits
- Define, monitor, and report on KPIs such as Product Registration Rate, Service Plan Conversion Rate, and CLV; create and maintain dashboards in Power BI, R Shiny
- Use SQL to query large datasets, ensuring data integrity and connecting disparate sources for holistic analysis
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to transform data insights into digital journey improvements
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Support web tracking and tagging by validating data quality with engineering teams and highlighting gaps
