R1 is the leading provider of technology-driven solutions that transform the patient experience and financial performance of hospitals, health systems, and medical groups. As a Senior Product Manager within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform team, support internal stakeholders and external clients navigating complex healthcare revenue cycle. Own R1’s new product Revy to deliver interactive AI-driven insights from vast R1 data.
Every day communicate with business partners and clients to understand analytical use cases. Define and prioritize requirements with data and software engineering teams. Coordinate dependencies and timelines with other PMs across the data and analytics ecosystem.
Define the vision for the self-serve analytical AI product roadmap. Manage broad scope of stakeholders and dependencies, balancing established business lines with latest technology from vendors and partners. Interface with engineering teams using Agile practices to articulate requirements and priorities.
Thrive by being fluent in technical data requirements while explaining their strategic business value to non-technical audiences. Act as thought leader pushing boundaries of what’s possible in rapidly moving domain. Lead by example, getting into the weeds when needed.
Requirements
- Solid product management experience, ideally supporting data and/or analytics products
- Prior experience in Revenue Cycle Management
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries from scratch
- Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
- Experience with BI dashboard development (Power BI preferred)
- Data Contract and BI Semantic modeling (Power BI preferred)
- Proficiency with Gen AI application and agent architecture, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt design, evaluation of LLM outputs, agent orchestration, tooling integration, and cost/performance tradeoffs
Responsibilities
- Lead the AI analytics product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of new features
- Prioritize initiatives, features, and stories by balancing stakeholder interests, user needs, technology direction, and product and business strategy
- Synthesize a variety of inputs into building, maintaining, and promoting the data product roadmap
- Mitigate blockers and make tough trade-off decisions between scope and schedule
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements offered by partners or in the industry
- Interface with engineering teams to articulate requirements, product vision, and business priorities utilizing Agile practices
- Communicate with business partners and clients to understand analytical use cases
