About this role

The Onchain Product team is building the next generation of financial products at Kraken, leveraging blockchain infrastructure to deliver faster, more transparent, and globally accessible financial services. This role sits at the intersection of crypto, DeFi, and traditional finance, owning products that enable customers to earn yield, access tokenized assets, and interact with onchain protocols.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Kraken Wallet, owning the wallet experience end-to-end from onboarding to DeFi interactions. You will design and deliver seamless wallet experiences by abstracting complex on-chain functionality into simple, user-friendly products for a global user base.

The team works closely with Engineering, Design, Growth, Legal, and Partnerships to identify new opportunities and bring innovative products to market. You will drive cross-functional execution across these teams to deliver high-impact features and help position Kraken at the forefront of onchain finance.

Requirements

Proven product management experience, ideally within blockchain, crypto, or fintech
Deep understanding of wallet, DeFi, stablecoin, and onchain ecosystem concepts
Ability to abstract complex blockchain infrastructure into intuitive consumer-facing products
Strong track record of driving cross-functional execution across engineering, design, and growth teams
Experience leading the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration
Data-driven mindset with ability to identify and measure product adoption, retention, and engagement metrics
Familiarity with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and onchain transactions

Responsibilities

Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Kraken Wallet, aligned to customer needs and company goals
Own the wallet experience end-to-end, from onboarding and asset management to DeFi, payments, and onchain interactions
Design and deliver seamless wallet experiences by abstracting complex on-chain functionality into simple, user-friendly products
Drive cross-functional execution across Engineering, Design, Growth, Security, and Operations to deliver high-impact features
Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery and prioritization through launch and iteration
Identify opportunities to improve wallet adoption, activation, retention, and engagement
Stay close to wallet, DeFi, stablecoin, and onchain ecosystem trends to inform product decisions
