About this role

This role is with the Service Experience Design team within the award-winning Philips Design community, shaping end-to-end service experiences across the full customer lifecycle for healthcare partners. You will design intuitive, empathetic, and visually compelling UI/UX for digital service applications and platforms, translating customer and employee needs into functional product experiences.

Your day-to-day spans the entire digital solution process—from conceptualization and user testing to collaborative design with development teams, ensuring delivery to customers. You will analyze and finetune design solutions with a holistic approach for service models and ecosystems, considering both customers and employees using them.

You will work as part of a cross-functional team, combining UX, service design, user research, and usability to understand the big picture and create solutions that scale with impact. The team fosters co-creation between design, business stakeholders, development teams, and service teams to drive innovative, implementable service solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to apply creative solutions and demonstrate design acumen using the latest tools and methods, including Design systems, Figma, UX prototyping, and AI creation tools. You will communicate with enthusiasm and storytelling to drive change and influence stakeholders, while working within complex project constraints to achieve program goals.

Requirements

  • A BSc degree and minimal 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Skilled in creating software solutions from early discovery through conceptualization, prototyping, user testing, and design specifications.
  • Excellent software UI/UX track record designing for cloud platforms and applications based on a Design Language System.
  • Experience working for complex digital ecosystems, preferably in Healthcare domains and/or digital Service domains.
  • Experience in user research and usability testing for systemic software solutions.
  • Experience in Figma, UX prototyping, and AI creation tools.
  • Experience in technology platforms and co-designing with agile software development teams.
  • Committed to driving and elevating design quality through constructive feedback, co-creation, and design methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, conceptualize, and finetune digital design solutions with a holistic approach for service models and ecosystems and their interdependencies.
  • Understand user needs and validate solutions from end-to-end service journeys to detailed interface level to ensure effectiveness and user satisfaction.
  • Apply creative solutions and demonstrate design acumen using the latest design tools and methods, including Design systems, Figma, UX prototyping, and AI creation tools.
  • Promote effective team collaboration by fostering co-creation approaches between design, business stakeholders, development teams, and service teams.
  • Communicate with enthusiasm and storytelling methods to drive change and influence stakeholders to achieve program goals.
  • Work within complex project constraints, including budget and time limitations, ensuring Filament design system quality and UX outcomes are achieved.
