About this role

You are motivated by challenges, variety, and learning as a young professional starting a career in IT. We are hiring a Junior Business & Data Analyst to join our project team. You will report directly to the project manager and support various projects with varying degrees of complexity.

You act as the business key contact and interface between business and IT. Your main tasks include gathering requirements analysis, documenting processes, analyzing data, and performing user acceptance testing. You participate in cross-functional working group sessions to translate business requirements into system specifications.

You assist with functional documentation of customer business requirements and analyze data sets to identify anomalies and resolve discrepancies. You conduct user acceptance testing while supporting investigation of questions, issues, and defects. You manage expectations and satisfaction of clients, project sponsors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

A university degree in an IT or analytical field e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
At least 1 year of experience as data analyst in a professional context
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of a programming language like Python, SAS, SQL, or similar is beneficial
Strong attention to detail
Business proficiency in English and German; proficiency in Italian is a plus

Responsibilities
