About this role

Trade Nation is building a world-class Design Studio, and we are seeking a talented Product Designer to be at the heart of it. In this role, you will serve as a high-output delivery partner, translating well-scoped briefs into polished, production-ready UI with speed and precision.

You will own the brief-to-delivery pipeline, resolving ambiguity proactively and confirming deliverables before starting design work. As guardian of the design system, you will ensure alignment across the Studio and partner closely with front-end developers to bring component libraries to life.

This role is remote, with required occasional travel to London. You will join a global team at Trade Nation, a CFD and spread betting broker built on transparency and trust, with headquarters in London and offices worldwide.

Requirements

Proven ability to translate well-scoped briefs into polished, production-ready UI with speed and precision.
Demonstrated experience working with design systems, including tokens, variables, and naming conventions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to craft.
Experience collaborating closely with front-end developers on component libraries.
Ability to resolve ambiguity and confirm deliverables proactively with stakeholders.
Track record of delivering high-quality work on agreed timelines and communicating risks transparently.
Proficiency in Figma and a portfolio showcasing high-quality UI design and systematic thinking.

Responsibilities

Own the brief-to-delivery pipeline, receiving briefs from stakeholders, resolving ambiguity proactively, and confirming deliverables before designing.
Deliver high-quality UI to specification on agreed timelines, communicating schedule risks immediately and transparently.
Maintain fastidious attention to detail within the Figma design system, adhering to strict tokens, variables, and naming conventions.
Create, maintain, and extend reusable components within the design system.
Serve as a high-output delivery partner to product and marketing teams.
Be the guardian of quality within the design system, ensuring alignment across the Studio.
Partner closely with front-end developers to bring component libraries to life.
