Marqeta seeks a Group Product Manager - Fraud for the Risk, Fraud and Disputes Team. Own the Real Time Decisioning product suite and 3D Secure authentication solutions. Challenge the status quo to build revolutionary fraud management products balancing fraud prevention, security, and legitimate transactions while minimizing customer friction.

As an experienced AI leader, deeply understand fraud, risk, and authentication ecosystems including AI-based tools, rules-based engines, EMV 3DS, SCA, and PSD2 compliance. Define and execute actionable strategies aligning with company growth. Lead with compelling product vision and roadmap to drive alignment across leadership and teams.

Partner with diverse teams like engineering, data scientists, risk operations, legal, GTM, and marketing. Collaborate cross-functionally for feature prioritization based on value, effort, usability. Own complete P&L driving adoption, optimization, approval rates, customer experience, and financial outcomes.

Leverage hands-on AI prototyping to validate concepts and accelerate to production. Stay current on AI/ML research and foundation models to embed capabilities in Risk Decisioning and 3D Secure suites. Work in a Flexible First environment remote in US Premium or National locations.

Requirements

10+ years in product management roles designing and delivering fraud, risk, and/or authentication solutions
Proven track record of setting vision and strategy for a portfolio of products and translating into rigorous end-to-end execution
Experience recruiting and growing top talent and building high-performing teams with strong EQ and leadership skills
Passion for AI demonstrated through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects
Deep understanding of AI, fraud product development, and modern authentication protocols like EMV 3DS and SCA
Familiarity with issuer and merchant requirements, regulatory compliance including PSD2 in Europe
Experience with AI-based fraud tools, rules-based fraud engines, and competitive landscape

Responsibilities

Define and execute a clear, actionable strategy that aligns with the company's overall growth objectives
Lead and inspire others with a compelling product vision and roadmap, driving alignment among leadership, peers, and teams
Deeply understand fraud, risk, and authentication ecosystems including competitive landscape, AI-based fraud tools, EMV 3DS, SCA, and PSD2
Develop AI-powered products and frictionless authentication solutions addressing customer pain points and balancing security with user experience
Own the complete P&L for Real Time Decisioning and 3D Secure products, optimizing fraud prevention, approval rates, and financial outcomes
Collaborate across customer-facing and technical teams to prioritize features based on value, effort, usability, and priority
Create well-defined Product Requirement Documents focusing on customer and business value with success metrics
Leverage hands-on AI and prototyping skills to validate concepts and stay current on AI/ML research for product suites
