About this role
In this role you will contribute to developing a cutting-edge Revenue Growth Management solution with enhanced AI capabilities. You will own the technical functionalities of initiatives while leading data engineers and front end developers. Collaboration with architects drives the overall RGM solution alongside business teams and stakeholders.
As North America Trade Promotion Management Product Owner you oversee the team building tools and processes that ensure accuracy and reliability of data. The work includes developing reusable data products for reporting and creating automated dashboards tailored to different audiences across business functions.
Our team sits at the forefront of driving AI, data, and analytics across Mondelēz. You will translate user needs into functional requirements and user stories while maintaining a prioritized backlog that stays multiple sprints ahead of the technical teams.
You will define critical product metrics, validate weekly progress through business user tests, and lead iterative testing phases. Feedback is incorporated to deliver continuous improvement and ensure the solution maximizes joint growth across the customer base.
Requirements
- Experience working on teams to design and develop data models with high-quality data flow.
- Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with stakeholders between business and IT Data & Analytics functions.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working closely with data engineering and reporting development teams.
- Experience in promotion and trade planning; Trade Promotion Management (TPM) data is a plus.
- 3+ years of Product Development experience acting as Product Owner or 3+ years working in CPG RGM.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems/technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of work experience in Data Analytics required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day technical development of the solution and create strong alignment in the working team to achieve goals.
- Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog and stay multiple sprints ahead of the team.
- Define critical metrics that determine product success and develop a deep understanding of product performance.
- Validate weekly progress of technical teams and lead business user tests to ensure product quality.
- Set detailed planning per initiative and help resolve arising bottlenecks.
- Lead iterative testing phases of the RGM solution and incorporate feedback for continuous enhancement.
