About this role

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. TikTok Live is a world-leading live streaming platform serving hundreds of millions of users globally.

Step into one of the industry's most challenging environments with massive scale, high concurrency, and complex global adversarial scenarios. Responsible for the content ecosystem of TikTok LIVE, independently identify issues, break down objectives, and drive achievement for healthy business development.

Possess unique insights into the content domain and identify risk patterns by analyzing user behavior, content, user feedback, and data. Develop forward-looking risk control strategies based on data-driven decisions and drive product safety improvements. Collaborate with tech teams to build scalable risk perception, identification, intervention, and governance systems.

Requirements

Pursuing BS or MS degree
Available to commit to internship from May to August 2026, onboarding by 11 May 2026
Unique insights into the content domain
Ability to analyze user behavior, content, and data for risk patterns
Data-driven decision-making for risk control strategies
Understanding of product safety mechanisms in live streaming

Responsibilities

Independently identify issues in the TikTok LIVE content ecosystem, break down objectives, and drive their achievement
Identify risk patterns and fraud rings by analyzing user behavior, content, user feedback, and other data to design automated adversarial strategies
Develop forward-looking risk control strategies based on data-driven decisions and drive improvement of product safety mechanisms
Collaborate with tech teams to build and improve risk perception, identification, intervention, and governance measurement systems
Design scalable risk control products and services that support various business lines
Engage with business, operation, algorithm, and security/risk stakeholders to solve risk problems at scale
